The fruitful collaboration between Professor Daniele Petralia and the Music Academy of Roma Capitale is renewed! This time with a more ambitious project. After the long suspension due to COVID-19, we are launching soon a Piano Specialization Course, open to students from all over the world, offering them the rare opportunity to play and study, over the course of a year, with an internationally recognized concert pianist.
The course will allow students to develop and refine the technical and executive skills essential for a professional career in the music field, moreover, it will be an opportunity for them to take advantage of a unique “full immersion” in the cultural Italian heritage, from the undisputed art of M° Daniele Petralia to the wonders of Rome.
The course structure, therefore, provides 5 sessions over a year, from March 2022 to March 2023 during which the three-day stay will allow you to participate at least to 2 individual lessons for each session at the course headquarters in Via degli Urali n.30, in the district of EUR in Rome.
Participation in all five sessions won’t be compulsory: at the participant’s discretion it will be possible to be part of it even for only one session. Eventually, each active student will receive a Diploma of completion of the international piano specialization course signed by Professor Daniele Petralia.
The best participants will take part into final concerts that will be organized at the end of each session of the course; moreover, at the discretion of the teacher they will be invited to perform for concert seasons in Sicily and for events organized by the Accademia Musicale di Roma Capitale in Rome.
Registrations are limited to a maximum of 10 students for each session.
For the course on 24, 25 and 26 March the deadline for submitting applications is January 31th 2023

The students from the Music Academy of Roma Capitale have the possibility to take part to the course as passive students for free.
“CAMPUS” FORMULA
Students can make a request (subject to availability of places) in order to take advantage of the “Campus” formula, that is to say accommodation and /or food directly in the building that hosts the course venue.
Our Academy is immersed in the greenery of a beautiful and relaxing park and has rooms with services and a restaurant. Guests wishing to stay would avoid any loss of time in the city’s traffic and would have a full immersion cultural experience.
Those wishing to visit the city center can take advantage of a convenient METRO service 150 meters away from the course venue as well as numerous BUS lines.

Meals – With the “Campus” formula it is also possible to enjoy meals by agreeing them directly with the Residential Structure.
The tourist tax for accomodation is not included and must be paid separately on site.
